The Simplex Method

Hi, my name is Alex Dent, the lead tutor of Simplex Tutoring and a current student at the University of Bath.

I have always held an enormous fascination for Mathematics, Computer Science and learning as a whole, achieving 10 A* at GCSE and A*A*AA at A Level.

Over the last few years I have acquired almost 1000 hours of online and in-person teaching experience in Maths, Computer Science, Python Programming and more!

The term Simplex Method is borrowed from Mathematics and is all about finding maximums to complex problems which I think couldn’t be more applicable to tutoring!

Tutoring should be simple. Our sessions are not lessons. If you are here, your child likely isn’t getting enough out of their school lessons and so another hour of being lectured isn’t what they need! Each session is an open, tailored discussion where your child and their opinions are respected and no question is ever “silly”. By working towards clear goals, your child can confidently build progress!
